PREFACE:
Bishop. Prof.Dr. Ilyas Joseph a prominent, reputable, respectable and a chosen man of God was born on 5th June 1962. His nativity is Zila Sialkot, Thesel, Daska. He works as a professor at Government College and with the mighty hand of God is serving as a 19 grade officer. The moral, ethical, social values and biblical knowledge embodied in his personality reflect the great up bringing of him since childhood and the great efforts of his parents in building up a such personality which is a source of blessings for numerous people.
Bishop Ilyas Joseph seems to be a living a life according to the commandments and decrees of the Lord and has always kept on meditating on the word of God.
Joshua 1:8 :
“Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; mediate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Deuteronomy 28:13 :
“The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”
CAUSES OF COMING IN THE MINISTRY AND THE GREAT TESTIMONY OF THE MINISTER OF THE LORD.
Bishop Prof. Dr. Ilyas Joseph got severe pain in the left arm so he visited the doctor and he was suggested to have biopsy, when the reports of the biopsy came it was diagnostic that it was a skin cancer which had spread over five parts of the body and the cancer in the lumber region was spreaded all over the stomach as well. The doctor also got extremely worried after viewing the reports he told him that he will not be able to survive for more than six months. When Bishop. Ilyas Joseph heard that, at first he got little worried and disturbed but the next moment he realized that it is the doctor who is saying this but there is one Supreme being the Superior most who is all powerful and the creator of the Heavens and the earth, with him all things are possible and the Lord who raised up Lazarus who was a dead of four days, with the command of Jesus came out of the grave. That Lord is same yesterday, today and forever. He can heal me as well. And the man of Lord fixed up his eyes on no one else than the HEALER (ALMIGHTY) and got strengthen and strong to face the heart taking crucial situation. He kept firm and unshakeable faith on the Lord and that His being has the glory and power to do all impossible things as well. And so it happened, the great faith of the man of God took him out of the disease forever and ever. And the new life which he has received from the Lord, he never forgets the great miracle of his life and therefore, the great testimony is shared by him among everyone and he proclaims that the Lord has done great and mighty works for him. The cause of coming in the ministry was this only that he had accepted the Lord as his Personal Saviour and had devoted, committed and dedicated his life for the service of the Lord Almighty.

Epilogue
It won’t be erroneous or incorrect to articulate, utter, verbalize, state or exclaim that the personality of Bishop. Prof. Dr. Ilyas Joseph is extremely versatile, resourceful, multitalented, adaptable and diversified in all aspects of life, he seems to be an excellent inspiration and aspiration for the society. God’s chosen man is truly admirable, praiseworthy, principled, upright, erect, assiduous, conscientious and hardworking serving as a role model for every one. He works in such a punctilious and proper way that is exemplary and commendable.
His service to man kind is greatly appreciable and substantial because the service of winning souls for the Lord is greatest of all. Keeping a heavy heart for the weary, weak and needy. Praying with deep consent and affection and pleading before the Lord for the deliverance, liberation and relief of the people. We see him being real follower of the Lord and all those who live by the laws and commands of the Lord get prosperous and successful with flying colours and so is with the minister of the Lord.
May the mighty hand of the Lord always remain bestowed upon his minister and he may remain equipped with the armors of God and continue to serve the Lord with all heart and soul. The Lord may keep utilizing him of his great, grand, enormous and enlarged work forever and ever.

As it is said that we get the gift of life once in life, we should shape and mould in such a way that it becomes a source of benefit for others and works should prove to be a landmark in society and always memorable and praiseworthy. His service is a milestone in the history and such a pioneer is truly to be an asset of Christian community. His works and services are not only admired and appreciated here but he is also a heir of the greatest reward in heaven as well.
