FAMILY BACKGROUND

His father’s name was Joseph Ladda Mall and his mother’s name was Sosan. They were six brothers and one sister. His brothers Abbas, Shahbaz and Samuel who were younger than him rested in peace in the decade of 1971, and his mother slept in God on 18th April 1992. After the sudden death of his brothers one after the other, the grieved family came to visit Karachi in order to get their selves relieved from the depair and they came to live with their relatives and then planned to settle in the city of Karachi permanently. Bishop Ilyas Joseph has also got two younger brothers named Robin and Shamaun who are also serving the Lord. All the family is working for God, serve the Lord and Glorify His name.

CONNUBIAL LIFE

By the grace of Lord Jesus Christ Bishop Ilyas Joseph got married or entered in the conjugal relationship with Ms. Helen Dauglas on 8th April 1989.

They are blessed in all aspects and are living in a healthy marital life portraying as good role models for the society.

† MRS.HELEN ILYAS JOSEPH

Mrs. Helen Ilyas Joseph has truly proved to be the better half, life partner and a great supporter, encourager for her husband and family.

She proves to fulfill the responsibilities as a wife working equally with her husband in the expansion of the work of Lord and encouraging and motivating them at all times so that the work of Lord may increase, and the body of Christ may grow. Inspite of being an educated lady holding degrees and qualification she proves to be a great housewife involving herself heartily in all domestic works and proper upbringing of her children.

She not just loves the Lord God with all heart and soul but also plays a vital role in establishing Bishop. Prof. Dr. Ilyas Joseph as a great minister of Lord which is undeniable.

There is no doubt that a wife proves to be an ultimate enhanced supporter, helper and a guider eradicating all those problems that arise in the life of her family, Mrs. Helen Ilyas Joseph stands upon fulfilling all her obligations to the bestest. Not only participating in the work and doing it with the family, she also is woman of prayer.

Her service is greatly among ladies and young girls whom she motivates and bring them towards the closeness of Lord and prepares them to serve the Lord.

God has blessed them with two sons and a daughter. The eldest son named Pastor. Amyas Constantine Mall and the younger son named Pastor. Anyas Valentine Mall and a daughter named Deaconess. Mishal Sharmine Mall.

With the physical, mental growth and academic education they are growing and nourishing in Christ every now and then and all are serving the Lord and giving glory to His name.

† PASTOR AMYAS CONSTANTINE MALL

The eldest son serves as the Pastorial Incharge of Korangi Branch and also serves as Biblical teacher at Mishal Sharmine Bible Institute. He is also greatly blessed with a good voice and he serves the Lord by presiding and praising and worshipping the Lord and devotes his vocal chords for this great service. He serves as a choir incharge as well. He is also the chairman of Youth Ministry. And is also capable of good

Pastor. Anyas Valentine Mall serves the Lord in the head quarter building. Greatly blessed by the Lord with the capability of playing musical instruments during the praise and worship of the Lord. The man of God is also blessed to serve his pen in writing down hymns, poetry and songs for the Lord with giving them good composition instantly.

Interpretation and knowledge of Languages God utilizes him greatly.

Blessed with the quality of conveying a good confident sermon is yet another blessing of God. He also serves as a Co-Chairman of Youth Ministry.

DEACONESS MISHAL SHARMINE MALL

Ms. Sharmine Mall serves the Lord as a Deaconess in the Church and is greatly serving the Lord in Women ministry and presiding, praising and worshipping the Lord giving honor and glory to the name of the Lord.

She also serves at Dr. Ilyas Joesph Bible School as a Sunday school teacher and introduces Christ our Lord among children and giving them knowledge about the God, our Father. In addition to all, she also organizes and manages the programmes that are held and performed at the local church and other churches as well which fall monthly, quarterly and yearly on festivals and festivities.
